One, Two, Three ...

That's the number of pieces I've worked on during the past week and I think it is my limit for the number of different projects  I can work on in a given week. When I start something, I just want to work on it to the exclusion of anything else.

Some more progress on Alpine Seasons Garden:
Alpine Seasons Garden - Chatelaine
stitched on 32ct Belfast Summer Khaki linen with recommended threads

with a close-up of the corner. There is some metallic thread in this section and  I love the way it catches the light.

I've finished the base of the basket and have started to fill in the bowl on Bluebird Thread Keeper. I am doing this as part of the Blackbird Designs SAL at Needlecraft Haven.
Bluebird Thread Keeper - Blackbird Designs
stitched on 32ct unbleached natural linen using suggested DMC threads

Finally, the rear end of Midnight Cow by Lizzie Kate. This is my sewing group project, so I will only be working on it twice a month. As it is a relatively straightforward design, I have this idea that I will be able to talk and stitch without making too many errors. Well, one can but hope. :)
Midnight Cow - Lizzie Kate
stitched on 28ct Jobelan Dark Red using recommended threads

  2. Lots of nice progress this week Mary, I like the red fabric, the white really pops on that.

  3. Wait! Talk AND stitch? That's usually more than my fussy little brain can manage. lol I love all the progress-- everything looks wonderful. One of these days I'm going to start my Chatelaine mandalas and I am going to need your help to keep me focused and moving forward...... what was I thinking when I bought them? Actually I know exactly what I was thinking: "Oooooo pretty!"

  7. I always love to see the progress on your Alpine Garden. What a fantastic design this is, but a lot of work before it's finished. Nice progress on your other WIPs too.
